Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the guidelines.

Specific procurement notices for contracts to be bid under the World Bank's international competitive bidding (ICB) procedures will be announced, as they become available, in UN Development Business, dgMarket, and local newspapers. It is possible, however, that some packages described above will be procured under procurement methods other than ICB and, therefore, no further notices might be published. Accordingly, interested eligible bidders are encouraged to not merely express their interest in receiving an invitation to bid under the ICB procedures, but also furnish relevant information on their qualification to perform such contracts, enabling the contracting authority to prepare lists of potential suppliers under different procurement methods.
